Why We Exist

Our Mission

ETKM exists for one reason: to give everyday people the skills, confidence, and readiness to protect themselves and the people they love.

We teach Krav Maga because it works. It’s simple enough to learn quickly, practical enough to use under stress, and accessible to people of every age, background, and fitness level. Self-defense is a right and a responsibility — and we’re here to make sure you never have to wonder what you’d do if something happened.

Self-defense is a right and a responsibility. We make it accessible and effective for everyone.

What We Stand On

Our Values

01 Skill Builds Confidence

You don’t feel confident because someone told you to. You feel confident because you trained for something hard and proved you could do it. Every class is built to make you more capable — and capability is where real confidence comes from.

02 Practical Over Perfect

We teach what works in real situations — not what looks impressive in a gym. Simple techniques. Natural movements. Responses that hold up under stress when your heart rate is high and your fine motor skills are gone. If it doesn’t work under pressure, we don’t teach it.

03 Community and Respect

You train with people who push you and support you at the same time. Everyone in this room started where you are. We hold each other to a high standard because the training matters — and we build each other up because the people matter too.

04 Consistency Over Motivation

Motivation gets you through the door the first time. Consistency is what builds the person who can handle what’s coming. Show up. Stay focused. Trust the process. The days you don’t feel like training are the days that count the most.

05 Preparedness Is Personal

The skills you build in class aren’t just for the mat. Awareness, readiness, and accountability carry into your daily life — how you scan a parking lot, how you position yourself in a room, how you respond when something feels off. That’s the point. Training changes how you move through the world.
