When 100% EffortIs Required
Sometimes you have to go all out. Real violence doesn’t happen at 60% — so you need to know what it feels like to fight at full intensity.
In a real-life attack, you won’t have time to warm up, reset, or ease into your response. You’ll have a split second to make a decision — fight back at full speed and intensity or risk being overpowered.
Knowing what it feels like to go 100% ensures that when the moment comes, you don’t freeze — you explode into action. Hesitation equals failure. Speed and explosiveness are critical. You fight until the threat is neutralized.
Burst Drills — Attacking with maximum speed and aggression for 30–60 seconds. Multiple Opponent Drills — Defending against multiple attackers at full power. Survival Scenarios — Fighting through fatigue, stress, and resistance without stopping.
These drills don’t just test technique — they test willpower, endurance, and ability to perform under extreme conditions.
Only go 100% once technique is solid at lower intensities. Stay focused on efficiency, not just aggression. Control your breathing — holding your breath leads to faster fatigue. Listen to instructor feedback.
Training at 100% doesn’t mean being reckless. It means applying everything you’ve learned at full speed, full power, and full intent.
You don’t always need to train at 100%, but you must know how to fight at 100% — because one day, your life might depend on it.
