Training Options
Workshops
Workshops are hands-on training courses and are the best option to get results for your group. Workshops can be taught at our facility or a hosted sight such as a church, school, meeting room, or a designated outdoor space. Our group sizes range from 4 to 400 depending on the needs of the client. We work diligently to ensure every student gets the most out of their training which supports our goal of building a safer community. Once a workshop is selected, we will quickly schedule a date, choose the location, and guide you through the process of making your ladies safer. With every workshop we schedule, we provide the following:
- A printable flyer
- Online registration and payment options
- Marketing material
- Pre and Post Workshop literature on subject being covered
Our self-defense workshops are constructed into specific modules. Each module describes a problem that our students might face in the real world. We then provide students with principles and strategies that will empower them to create a path to safety. Throughout each module, all the physical requirements needed to defeat an attacker, such as footwork and striking, will be detailed and drilled. Workshops are broken down to address specific skills and can be combined with any other course for a full day of training. The most common training schedule our clients utilize is dividing the skill areas over the course of several dates. Below is a list of course we run for groups of ages 12 years and up:
- Basic striking, movement, and keeping danger away
- Defending strikes and takedowns
- Defending attacks from behind
- Using common objects as shields and weapons
- Confined spaces 1 / 2
- Ground fighting 1 / 2 / 3
- Weapons defense
Private Lessons
Private self-defense training is the best way to learn Krav Maga because it permits the instructor to focus on the individual’s set objectives. Each one-hour session is customized to ensure that the student has an optimal learning environment suited for their pace of learning, comfort level, age, learning style, and physical abilities to maximize success. Students can request to be taught by a female instructor if they feel that is best suited for them.
Students will work with their coach to create a training plan that aligns with their needs and goals. Throughout their training, their coach will use this plan to ensure that the goals are being met, while providing any necessary additional outside resources to support each student on their journey to a safer life.
